Canyon Fall Blessing
18" x 24"
Acrylic on Canvas
This was inspired by a photo that I took while hiking in Zion Canyon last Spring. I was standing below this trickle of a water fall, being gently sprinkled. I felt so blessed to be standing there, in awe of the grandeur of the canyon, the sheer vertical rock face... the amazing colors. I angled the waterfall somewhat because I wanted to give the feeling of the dizziness ...and the feeling of ones spirit being uplifted. Cool serenity, yet curiosity of what is above me and beyond.
Wow, this is absolutely Brilliant!
Fantastic, Tannis!
Outstanding.

I love this image Tannis! It conveys to me the tremendous power of nature and the grandness of the terrain. You do want to climb out and see what's up above. The cooler tones below and the warmer shades above give your work a wonderful sense of contrast. Beautiful - and totally Tannis!
Amazing picture like the real object on a photo!
This is gorgeous, Tannis...it might be my favorite yet. You really were successful in conveying the feeling of awe and grandeur!
