This is wonderful, Brigitte, I just love it. You say the top part was done with charcoal...are there graphite parts too?

Hi Donna, the grid and light are done in graphite pencil and I have added a level 8 tone and everything else is done in charcoal. I bought some “General’s” woodless graphite pencils and they go up to a level 8B tone which is great to get that darker tone and they have quite a heavy weight behind them which feels good as well. Thanks for the info! I have a couple of those woodless pencils...maybe I should give them a try.
