Lyn is a professionally selling artist and certified instructor, teaching drawing, painting, and coloured pencil courses on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Through her art education programs she has shared her knowledge and love of art to hundreds of people over the years. It gives her great pleasure to help others unlock their full potential and reap the rewards of happiness, self-awareness and self-fulfilment that come from creating original art.
Lyn Donald specialises in painting close and personal macro visions of flora. Her style is detailed contemporary realism in acrylic, coloured pencil, tonally shaded graphite or charcoal drawings. In portraying these subjects from nature, Lyn celebrates the joy and beauty in life. She is driven by the challenge of capturing the essenceand beauty of her subject as the transitory nature of everything we love in life is only for a moment.
She has completed her Diploma in Visual Arts and has since exhibited widely in both group and solo exhibitions.
