My love of colour and nature began on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland where I was born and grew up. From an early age I spent every spare minute drawing and painting. My love of painting and drawing further intensified by living in rural and remote areas of the Pilbara and Northern Territory working as a National Park Ranger. I completed my Diploma of Visual Arts and have exhibited in group exhibitions and a solo exhibition at Novotel Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast. I am also the winner of the 2009 Sunshine Coast Apex Award.

My style is detailed and realistic, portraying subjects from nature. A celebration of the joy and beauty found in life. The Australian natural environment, its colour, variety and rustic charms inspires me and drives me to capture its essence, to enjoy again at a later date.

My ambition and desires are to be an excellent artist and to use these skills to encourage and inspire others. I believe that creativity is in all of us just waiting for an opportune time to be unlocked. Most times we’re unsure of just how to go about unlocking that, but when we do we find an exciting and rewarding satisfaction. As if somehow we are complete. I believe I can help you unlock this in small easy steps that will bring the joy and fulfilment that I have also received through painting and drawing. I am so glad that others have helped and shared with me on my journey and I’m keen to offer these same pleasures to my future students.
