Beginners Art Course

The Complete Draw and Paint In Your Pyjamas Certificate Course is a 42 week course which consists of six major units which are presented in a series of seven weeks of tuition within each.

Unit 1: Drawing
Unit 2: Paint and Mix Colours
Unit 3: Shading
Unit 4: Portraiture
Unit 5: Perspective
Unit 6: Compose Original Art

The teaching formula encourages you to work in a progressive and organized manner. When studied as a full course, the six-units provide absolute beginners with a well-rounded knowledge in the fundamental principles of art.

This unique program is a beautiful blend of contemporary and traditional art skills which, over the past decade, has successfully helped men, women and children learn to draw who previously believed they were unable to draw a stick figure.

Once your registration is complete you will be able to download your complimentary virtual book ‘Paint In Your Pyjamas!’ and your course notes. You work will be commented upon from the agreed start date of your course and in the meantime you are welcome to introduce yourself in the the Artists Cafe on the DrawPj.com forum and start getting to know your fellow beginner artists.

Level of Instruction

No experience necessary – This course is especially designed for beginners to help you release your natural drawing skills.

Program Length

42 weeks of tuition studying between 2 to 8 hours per week presented over a twelve month period. A weekly time schedule is recommended; however, you can submit your work at your own pace providing the course is completed within the twelve month time frame. Please note; you are permitted to submit a maximum of three exercises every three working days.
