Wow what a busy month! It’s been all go here at DrawPj HQ. In addition to helping all our wonderful DrawPj students and instructors achieve their very best results I managed to fit in a major commissioned artwork (which took over 100 hours to complete!), a new artwork project for myself (another 80 hours of coloured pencil work!) and a live three hour long appearances on Hochanda TV. (Hochanda is short for ‘The Home of Crafts, Hobbies and Arts’).
My client for the commissioned artwork has requested it remain under wraps right now but I was able to reveal my other drawing for the first time (in it’s completed form) live on UK Television. And here it is…
Title: I Will Carry You
Medium: Derwent Coloursoft on St Cuthberts Mill Somerset Velvet grey paper
Size: 29 x 40cm
I just loved this donkey the moment I first saw her on the beach at Whitby. A donkey always reminds me of slow patience. I am reminded by this beautiful donkey that Jesus will always carry me no matter what path life leads me on.
…and my Hochanda TV appearance
I’m an official ambassador for Derwent Pencils and appeared on Hochanda TV at the invitation of Derwent and the SAA. I’m absolutely passionate about Derwent Coloursoft pencils so it’s a pleasure to be able to share my knowledge about them live on TV.
I appeared on three shows, each an hour long. While each one covers similar subject matter I’m sure if you watch them you’ll pick up some really valuable nuggets of information about Derwent Coloursoft Pencils along the way.
You can still see the shows on Hochanda’s Rewind section…
I wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year!
