A massive congratulations to Alumni Mentored student Jillian Ridgeway on the sale of yet another painting. Jillian has sold her wonderful painting titled ‘Suns Up’ in acrylic paints on canvas to an ABC Reporter and ex-politician who adore her work so much that they want to see more back at her studio! She has also received two commisions!

I am a huge fan of Jillian’s work because I know how hard she studied with me over the two years that she was mentored; mostly in the areas of composition. We made sure that she was able to maintain and develop her own unique and quirky style. This is a great example of how you can learn all the rules in our course and then adapt them to stylise your work. Jillian paints the most beautiful, fun, colourful and uplifting images often inspired by her travels and her local environment.
