Today I want to celebrate the journey so far of one of our mentored students Marta Oliehoek-Samitowska.
Marta has travelled through our course so beautifully and along the way she continually creates original pieces of her own. Below you can see Marta’s pre-instruction drawing when she first joined the course.

Her skills are developing from strength to strength and in the images below you can see some of artworks she has created totally independently since beginner her journey as a mentored DrawPj student – from beginner professional standard.
My hope for all of our mentor-assisted students is to move to the professional award-winning level too. Its such a joy to be able to create artworks that you are so proud of and that your family and friends admire. Well done Marta, you have a huge future in the wonderful world of drawing and art. I am certainly keeping my eye on you.
Another thing I love to do is to introduce any of our promising mentored students to my colleagues in the art licensing, book writing/illustrating and gallery selling industries. So if you are in our mentored level make sure that you share your works from outside of our course with us all here. This is strictly only for works created with your own reference images, just like Marta has done here.
