In my latest Youtube video you can color-along with me in real-time. I’ll show you how to use pastel pencils to quickly and easily create a variety of textures that you can apply to all kinds of other subjects afterwards as well.
You’ll learn how to blend using just a few pastel pencils to create the shadows and highlights in the cream cheese icing making it look 3D. Then you’ll learn two very simple techniques with the tip of your pencil to create the yummy cake texture. Finally, we’ll finish off by creating sparkling highlights by using some simple vertical lines in the gold cupcake case.
